1. Clothing

New for this sale: Limit of 175 pieces of your best clothing items per consignor.

  • Price items at $1.00 or .50 increments. No $.99 cents or other increments please.
  • Use only one inch or larger safety pins to attach the tag. Please do not use a tagging gun. If they are attached to the clothing on the right shoulder, it will make a hole.
  • Pin clothing sets securely together with the pants hung on the back of the SAME hanger. This way people can view both pieces at the same time. No clothes pins as pieces come off and get lost.
  • Clothes must be hung on appropriately sized hangers with the hook pointing to the left and the tag on the right shoulder if you are facing it (Make a question mark with the hanger.) Children's clothing sizes 4 and under must be on child size hangers. These are also available at Wal-Mart and Target. Please do not put clothes in a ziploc bag as they will not sell if shoppers cannot see them.
  • Children's clothes must be in EXACT sizes, no S,M,L or XL
  • Sleepers-limit of 6 per consignor. (Pin two or three together and sell as one set) Please do not put sleepers or onsies in a ziploc bag.
  • Pictured below is an example of where to pin tags on clothes and how to hang them appropriately on the hangers. The next picture is an example of the tags you will be printing.

MATERNITY ITEMS must be in excellent condition. Please do not bring out-dated maternity clothes. They will not sell. Please secure the tops with safety pins if they have a tendency to fall off the hanger.

2. SHOES

  • Limit 5 pairs per consignor. All shoes must be in nearly brand new condition. Please bring only your best!
  • We strongly suggest you zip tie shoes together and punch a hole through the tag and attach the tag here.
  • Baby shoes, slippers, or small shoes can be placed in zip lock bags with the tag taped or pinned to the INSIDE. Consider putting several pairs of baby shoes or booties together in a bag under one price tag taped to the inside.

3. TOYS

New for this sale: We will accept no toys under $3.00. If you have a toy that is under $3.00 it must be bundled with another toy to make it reach $3.00.

  • All toys must be in working order and clean. The better it looks, the faster it will sell.
  • Any toy that needs batteries must include batteries so shoppers can be assured it works and will also know how it works.
  • Small accessory parts should be placed in a clear zip lock bag and package taped very well to the biggest piece. You can tag each piece with tags that say 1 of 3, 2 of 3, etc, but only put the bar code on the first tag.
  • Stuffed Animals -The best way to secure a tag on a stuffed animal or doll is to punch a hole in your tag and tie it around the neck of the animal or pin to its clothes. Only stuffed animals with batteries will be accepted.

4. BOOKS, MOVIES, PUZZLES, VIDEO GAMES, COMPUTER SOFTWARE

  • When tagging these items, Please use clear scotch tape to tape your tags to the cover as packing tape is hard to remove and tends to rip covers.
  • VHS tapes without covers do not sell well.
  • Books should be in good shape, no ripped or missing pages.
  • Put puzzles in a bag or use plastic wrap. It may seem like a good idea to tape puzzle pieces to the bottom of the puzzles but when they are removed it can ruin the pictures on the pieces. So please be careful. We recommend you bundle puzzles and sell them two or three together.
  • Due to local selling rules, we CANNOT accept video game consoles such as gameboy, gamecube, PS2, PS3, DS, XBOX 360,Wii and their cartridges.

5. INFANT EQUIPMENT

  • Infant carriers, swings, excersaucers, boppy pillows, play stations, bathtubs, potty seats, car seats, and travel system all sell very well. Please, make sure it is in good condition, free of stains and discolorations.
  • Feel free to package smaller items together in sets, like bottles, spoons, bibs, hats, rattles, etc. If your equipment requires batteries, they must be included.
  • Car seats cannot be older than 5 years old. Please call Dept of Transportation for recalls at 1-800-424-9393.
  • We do not accept used nipples or pacifiers or breast pump parts.

6. FURNITURE

  • Big Seller!! We will accept bassinets, cradles, play yards, changing tables, dressers, armoires, bookshelves, toy chests, desks, table and chair sets, rocking chairs, and gliders with or without ottomans. We will also accept cribs, toddler beds, twin beds, and bunk beds. It’s best if you bring your item in and assemble it on our sales floor so people can see what it looks like and how to use it.

7. LARGE OUTDOOR EQUIPMENT

  • Large toys and outdoor play equipment must be clean and free of dirt and water. Bring in slides, swings, sand boxes, play houses, ride-on toys, tables, wagons, etc. from Little Tikes or Step 2. These are hot sellers! All pieces must be included.  Clean them as best you can. Magic erasers work great on these!

8. Bedding

  • Place all comforters in a XL or XXL sized ziploc bag or something similiar. We have found those bags to work best and the items remain neater throughout the sale. Also, if you are selling a comforter set, secure a list of all items to the inside of the main bag so that shoppers see all items contained.

9.  Additional Tagging Information

  • Please make sure your printer has sufficient ink in it before printing your tags. If tags, therefore barcodes are faded we will not be able to scan your items. These tags will help you keep track of your sales.
  • Use only cardstock paper. Regular printer paper will not be accepted, as it will not scan. New for this sale:Tags will print 10 per page.
  • Be very descriptive on the tags and use name brands/color
  • Feel free to include the original price you paid or what it is currently selling for.
  • Please sort all clothing before bringing them in for drop-off. Sort them by gender and size so that check in will be quicker. If they are not sorted you will be asked to step to the side to sort them.
  • Inspect your items carefully before you tag them. We will also inspect everything at drop off. We will not allow any clothes that have stains, holes, or missing parts to be placed on the sales floor.  Wash all of your clothes so they smell fresh (and not like they’ve been in a box in your garage).  Make sure all buttons are buttoned, clothes ironed, loose thread clipped and there are working batteries in all equipment! Spending a little extra time getting your items ready will mean more cash for you. We will be very thorough during check in for this sale. Please bring only your best!
  • Remember: Let your items go for half price on the last day! Making some money is better than bringing stuff back home!
